NPP Projection Open 7/7



To do this evening/ was completed: What I thought was going to be an already busy day got even busier with the little wrench of the Zoom Q+A setup, which I blessedly sorted out so we should be set. 

Presentation Issues: When I was starting to schedule automation, I noticed that Theater 3 wasn't accepting anything. I rebooted the server and it was back to normal. 

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Made some new slides for the LWAM event at NWB tonight. 

Built the start of the Maddie's Secret playlist. Volume and credit cues still needed. 

Trailer Updates: No issues

Special Events/ AV set up: Tried setting up the Zoom setup for the Q+A for tonight. It took John and I a little bit of finagling, but we did manage to get it working through the Mac Mini in 1. We tested it with the director in between rounds and we should be set. Just be sure the sound settings are on: 

Audio Input: HD Camera
Audio Output: HDMI

Trivia is set up for tonight. 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): No issues

Ordering/Receiving (content): Started ingesting The Odyssey and Maddie's Secret. Maddie's Secret is only CCAP, so I let Conrad know. 

We also got the drive for State Your Name, which needs to be converted to DCP. I started analyzing audio, 

Outgoing/Shipping (content): No issues

Print/video Inspection: John and I also took a look at Rozz Williams, which was all good to go. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?: Yes

Maintenance/cleaning: No issues

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Cue sheets for next week are completely filled out. 

Automation for next week is mostly done apart from some event playlists and all of Wednesday and Thursday need to be scheduled. 

Marquee updated?: First thing this morning I got the words for the event up. I cannot believe I managed to fit everything on that last line. 

Posters updated?: Put in the Rozz Williams poster up in the foyer. The Spider-Man poster and the Coming Soon thing are in the 3/7 booth on the bench. 

Cleaning lights on for the night?: No issues

Projection cart by entrance?: No issues

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. Projection Close 8/26 Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: I will be out tomorrow as I'm still recovering from a bad cold and need another day to rest. I will have notes via email tomorrow. I will also be joining the cinema meeting and will be remoting in from home. I reached out to Rebecca again and cc'd Lauren and Ian who will be here during the early hours tomorrow so that they know I'm out in case they walkie and can contact me via phone/email. If Jack is able to come in a little earlier, I'll let management know. I let management know about the iPad (per Jack's blog) which I'm running the updates on right now and had hoped would be done soon but they're still going so I let them know to use the Spotify app in the meantime if Soundtrack doesn't work, but it should.  The print of It's Alive  went down well (if you don't count the lad that threw up in the theatre and then right outside the door). NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac.
