NPP Projection Report 7/22 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: Staff Screenings have been scheduled, blocked, playlists built and the info is out on 7shifts - L
NOTE: I've told McKegg this, but we have two listening devices out in T1 right now, as well as a seat (near MOD office). Screws are on the table in 4/6. - L

Had our cinema meeting and we're good on content (still up in the air as to whether or not we're getting a print of Camp Miasma, but it's looking like a 'no' at the moment.) - L

Threaded up the platter for the Odyssey and started running the show. McKegg is in now and has been taken through the process for a proper shutdown. - L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Added the last NoBudge short to the playlists, though it still needs to be teched.

Trailer Updates: Ingested the Class of 96 trailer and added it to the appropriate playlists

Special Events/ AV set up: Chairs for Josie are all set as is the playlist. Walked McKegg through everything. There are only two chairs/mics needed as one person cannot make it. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Started downloading Off The Rails to the share folder, which Alec confirmed had successfully downloaded to the Share folder. I just ingested this - L

Ingested Class of 96 preshow. - L

Ingested a lot of keys, double checked the LMS to make sure we're not missing anything. - L

Ingested all the Dark Room shorts to the LMS

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Packed up Jurassic Park (please remember that Universal almost always puts labels in the cans). This will get picked up via FedEx Ground. It's on the cart - L

Print/video Inspection: Tech'd Josie and the slide. Double checked the levels/speakers in T2 as per Will's. blog note from the day before. We're all good. - L

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Changed the bulb in the T3 projector and destroyed the old one.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. 

Marquee updated?: Added new 35mm titles to the marquee and took down the rental. - L

Posters updated?: Yes, Disclosure Day and Backrooms are down, Her Private Hell and I Want Your Sex are up.

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. Projection Close 8/26 Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: I will be out tomorrow as I'm still recovering from a bad cold and need another day to rest. I will have notes via email tomorrow. I will also be joining the cinema meeting and will be remoting in from home. I reached out to Rebecca again and cc'd Lauren and Ian who will be here during the early hours tomorrow so that they know I'm out in case they walkie and can contact me via phone/email. If Jack is able to come in a little earlier, I'll let management know. I let management know about the iPad (per Jack's blog) which I'm running the updates on right now and had hoped would be done soon but they're still going so I let them know to use the Spotify app in the meantime if Soundtrack doesn't work, but it should.  The print of It's Alive  went down well (if you don't count the lad that threw up in the theatre and then right outside the door). NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac.
