Projection Admin 7/15



To do this evening/ was completed: Staff Screenings for The Odyssey have been scheduled on the LMS, blocked on the calendar and sent out on 7shifts. I will be running a test of this tomorrow morning, Alec will be running the shows in the evening. FYI - if you didn't already know, no one but projection is allowed to witness the test tomorrow. - L

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Staff Screening playlists built. 

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Picked up the DCP of Christine from the MOD office. Transferred it to the Share folder and started ingesting it. - L

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Gave John a lil nudge to check in on the DCP delivery for Source Code since no info is available still. - L

Received and ingested the DCP of Looper and It Ends, transferred the screener of It Ends to T3 for the programmers. - L

Currently downloading the DCP of Wild Inside, which we received today via link. This is downloading to the Share folder via the Signiant App. Please ingest once it's done. - L

Ingested a lot and I mean a lot of keys. - L

Ingested the V2's of new Droppings/Book PSAs, which I will take a look at tomorrow morning. - L

Maintenance/cleaning: Kind of a big maintenance day for us. Alec and I got the print up on the platter, which is all ready to go. Alec has reached out to Roger for another power source and swapped the existing ones in T1. I changed the fuse for the voltage meter in both projectors (which turned out to be necessary on P2, actually) and adjusted the amperage on P1 since it was running pretty high. Had the lamp on for two hours this morning and it ran perfectly fine, even after the power source switch, but we're hoping to err on the side of caution with a new one if we can get it. We should be sorted for tonight, but please do let us know if anything funky happens. Ran loops for this evening's screening of Jurassic Park 3. All set. - Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. To do this evening/ was completed: I will be out tomorrow as I'm still recovering from a bad cold and need another day to rest. I will have notes via email tomorrow. I will also be joining the cinema meeting and will be remoting in from home. I reached out to Rebecca again and cc'd Lauren and Ian who will be here during the early hours tomorrow so that they know I'm out in case they walkie and can contact me via phone/email. If Jack is able to come in a little earlier, I'll let management know. I let management know about the iPad (per Jack's blog) which I'm running the updates on right now and had hoped would be done soon but they're still going so I let them know to use the Spotify app in the meantime if Soundtrack doesn't work, but it should.  The print of It's Alive  went down well (if you don't count the lad that threw up in the theatre and then right outside the door). NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac.
