Projection Admin 7/17



To do this evening/ was completed: Staff screening of The Odyssey on 35mm went super well, decent turn out too! Cleaned the platter and the projector/port glass top to bottom. 

Ran the screener of It Ends for the programmers in T3. 

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Started building A1 playlists for 7/24. 

Trailer Updates: Ingested new trailers for 7/24 (we still need some content that will be available come this Monday)

Special Events/ AV set up: 

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Lionsgate really dropped the ball on getting us a DCP for Source Code (few problems on their end, nothing to do with us) but Alec sent a great file of the film, which I have DCPing in 4/6 and it should be done in just a few hours. Please ingest this ASAP and build a playlist. If you can get eyes on it before you leave tonight, that would be great! 

Ingested The Producers to the LMS. 

Ingested new content from Kat for 7/24!

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Love Me Tonight got picked up. 

Print/video Inspection: Took a look at She's the Man and updated the playlist/added cues and adjusted the cue sheets. 

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Took the trash out in 4/6. 

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Yes. Cue sheets will need to be updated with Source Code info. I let MOD know and they're aware of the situation. 

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?: Yes.

To do this evening/ was completed: Double confirmed with Chris and folks that the print of Vicious Lips is, in fact, Vampire Lovers. They are in the process of sending Cyborg. I took the Vicious Lips trailer out of the playlists that had them, which we'll replace with Cyborg once it's available.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Higher Learning .  Trailer Updates: ^ as per the above, we'll be getting the Cyborg trailer and updated version of the Forecast_A for 9/12 sometime tonight.  Special Events/ AV set up: We got the PA system with wireless mics setup for the show tonight in T2. Projection Close 8/26 Lillian

To do this evening/ was completed: I will be out tomorrow as I'm still recovering from a bad cold and need another day to rest. I will have notes via email tomorrow. I will also be joining the cinema meeting and will be remoting in from home. I reached out to Rebecca again and cc'd Lauren and Ian who will be here during the early hours tomorrow so that they know I'm out in case they walkie and can contact me via phone/email. If Jack is able to come in a little earlier, I'll let management know. I let management know about the iPad (per Jack's blog) which I'm running the updates on right now and had hoped would be done soon but they're still going so I let them know to use the Spotify app in the meantime if Soundtrack doesn't work, but it should.  The print of It's Alive  went down well (if you don't count the lad that threw up in the theatre and then right outside the door). NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac.
