NPP Projection Open 9/20

To do this evening/ was completed:

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built a playlist for Zeism: The Brooklyn Knight and placed a minute of black with house lights up at its end since the film has no credits

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Set up and tested the AJA/HDMI connection and wireless mics for The Deuce twice this morning (once after I had connected everything and again when the hosts arrived + ran the first reel of Ghosts of Mars with Cristina to get a volume level prior to the pre-show starting)

Ghosts of Mars screening went smoothly, save for a brief moment during the first reel when the soundtrack switched from SRD to Dolby A, as did the raffle after the film + spoke to the hosts about having a spots setting made for them for their raffle segment (spots on the right and left sides of the screen) for the next event in January

Mixer, mics, wires, and tables were placed back beneath the curtain after the show (the wireless mics transmitter from theater 2 is beneath the curtain here -- if this could be returned to theater 2 at the end of the night that would be greatly appreciated)

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content):

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection:

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning:

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Rebecca noted that the credits timing for Resident Evil was off by about two minutes (in theater 1 this afternoon) so I adjusted the formula on the cue sheets to reflect this change **please adjust this in the event that the credits begin sooner in subsequent rounds

Marquee updated?:

Posters updated?:

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

Projection cart by entrance?:

Additional Notes: ADA seat(s) removal insanity continues in theater 2...I was in and out of the booth between reels to help Wyatt and Ian take out the block of seats closest to the booth door; there was a very stubborn bolt that needed removing with a crow foot wrench...once this was loosened the seats were freed and later put back at the end of the round

NPP Projection Report 11/23 Open

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. I checked the scope blu-ray projector channel in Theater 1 and it's good to go should we need to screen the blu-ray. I started the DCP of Death Race 2000 on the T1 Mac. Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Asset tracking d...

Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
