NPP Projection Report 9/11 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: We have a marquee rental that needs to go up tonight on the 35mm side. Chenelle emailed us the copy.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled the To Wong Foo playlist

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): Drives for To Wong Foo and Resident Evil came in. Ingested both.

The Final Fantasy print arrived, I brought it down to booth 1.

Joe and Curtis dropped off the Childhood Delusions DCP and watched a bit of it in T1.I also got the intro/Q&A slide which I converted and ingested. I wrote the volume down on the whiteboard since we still need some content to build the playlist. 

Ingested Zoolander to the LMS (from the FilmVault!)

Converting the first Dear Mama episode to DCP. The file for the second is on the Desktop and can get converted once the first one finishes.

John handed off a thumb drive with the Zeism: The Brooklyn Knight DCP, it's copying to the Share folder.

Outgoing/Shipping (content): Finished packing up Gang Related and attached a label. It's on the cart and FedEx will pick it up tomorrow.

Print/video Inspection: Shrek is all set for tomorrow.

Looked at The Uprising. Updated the playlists.

Went through all the drag show content and lighting cues for To Wong Foo with Desmond.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: Max came by to troubleshoot the Deluxe FilmVault server and got us back online! Deluxe has already successfully uploaded some content.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift):

Marquee updated?: Yes; Dog Stars down. Hope, The Uprising, and Practical Magic 2 are up.

Posters updated?: Yes, Dog Stars is down and replaced with The Uprising. Hope switched to now showing.

Cleaning lights on for the night?:

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Kat will be making a DCP of Guardians of the Galaxy tomorrow for the private event in T1 on Tuesday morning. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. I set up the blu-ray player so it's connected to both the monitor and the projector, in case we end up needing to use the blu-ray. I sent Lillian and McKegg an email about this separately. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...

Projection Admin 3/30

To do this evening/ was completed: School Screening in T3 went very well this morning, started it up early, but just a friendly reminder - if you tech something the night before its show date (let alone first thing in morning), at the very least please log volume and/or build a playlist. I was in early so it wasn't much of an issue, but it helps to have this sorted beforehand. Also, special screener of The Drama for Jared and Lauren went just fine, too. Feature seems kind of low, volume wise, but once it opens up in other screening rooms this week, I'll take another look and adjust as needed. - LH Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Revelations of Divine Love . Tech'd Stranger by the Lake and noticed it wasn't scheduled on the LMS yet, so I scheduled it and transferred preshow content and the feature to T2.
