NPP Projection Report 9/3 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: For tomorrow: we can forgo putting all the splits up on the marquee and just put up Onslaught. Don't forget to change the poster to now showing! Also we should take down "On 35mm" next to The Odyssey since it's DCP only starting tomorrow.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled Merrily We Go To Hell and Gang Related

Downloaded and ingested the trailers for the Litany for Survival event. Also converted and ingested the holding slide. Still waiting on the slideshow for preshow.

Projector and platter are clean and ready to thread for the final 35mm Odyssey show tonight.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Spoons is set up for tonight, you'll just need to plug in the speakers, turn everything on, and grab the mics from the booth.

Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers):

Ordering/Receiving (content): NoBudge files are in, I started downloading to a folder on the Desktop.

Outgoing/Shipping (content):

Print/video Inspection: Looked at Onslaught, Dreams in Nightmares, and It Ends and updated playlists.

Finished inspecting Poetic Justice. This is Dolby A, confirmed with the R6 tail leader (the only leader original to the print). Also this is an example of when a print's leaders do not match. They are taken from random sources (including a LOTR print?) and none of them (except T6) are original, so they don't match.

Asset tracking doc updated/checked?:

Maintenance/cleaning: 4/6 is back to normal now, thanks to Juan since no one ended up coming to clear out the junk left behind from the network upgrade. I put the bin/mic stand shelf and iPad rack back where they belong.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Made the formula for Hope and filled those shows in.

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Checked the Home Alone DCP ahead of the private event this morning, no issues. The party was a bit late seating, so the movie start was a little bit delayed. Overall it ran smoothly. Chenelle will get the blu-ray sent over here for us to have as backup. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...

Projection Admin 3/30

To do this evening/ was completed: School Screening in T3 went very well this morning, started it up early, but just a friendly reminder - if you tech something the night before its show date (let alone first thing in morning), at the very least please log volume and/or build a playlist. I was in early so it wasn't much of an issue, but it helps to have this sorted beforehand. Also, special screener of The Drama for Jared and Lauren went just fine, too. Feature seems kind of low, volume wise, but once it opens up in other screening rooms this week, I'll take another look and adjust as needed. - LH Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the playlist for Revelations of Divine Love . Tech'd Stranger by the Lake and noticed it wasn't scheduled on the LMS yet, so I scheduled it and transferred preshow content and the feature to T2.
