NPP Projection Report 11/3 Admin


To do this evening/ was completed: LMS schedule can get finished tonight.

Presentation Issues:

Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled Great Muppet Caper.

Trailer Updates:

Special Events/ AV set up: Batman Returns Film Feast pre-screening went well.

Ran loops for Bringing Out the Dead tonight.

Set out trivia table and got the HDMI cable and mic ready.

Some boxes of merch for Being Heumann arrived. These are in 4/6

Print/video Inspection: Looked at Bringing Out the Dead and JFK prints with John, volumes logged for both. Cristina was out sick so she'll be here to look at Iron Monkey later in the week.

John and I also looked at Big Boys for tomorrow. I updated the playlist.

Ran through the Being Heumann playlist with the hosts. This is all set. Just an FYI--though this has probably come up already--all 3 ADA seats will need to be removed for this event.

Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): I corrected the timing for JFK tomorrow. We're showing the theatrical cut, not the director's cut.

Cue sheets are filled in for next week. The following shows need to have credits timing filled in: My Brother's Wedding, Boyz N The Hood, The Spook Who Sat By the Door, Red-Headed Woman (will be preceded by a short which is TBD), Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Vampire

Marquee updated?: Cleared the rental from the 14th street side and reinstated the brunch text with "Presented by Mubi"

To do this evening/ was completed: More NewFest teching/downloading/ingesting today.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent the trailer list, I've been ingesting content - forecasts, new trailers and what not, but the QR explainer (V3) won't be available for a few days.  Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Set for the SE shows this weekend. Spoons stuff is still off to the side in T1 with a black cloth over it, but I turned on the mixer since the PA speakers make an unpleasant sound when the mixer is not engaged.  Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Got the DCP/KDM for Edie Arnold, which Desmond and I were also able to take a look at today.  Outgoing/Shipping (content): Cleared content we no longer need. To do this evening/ was completed: Big day for teching. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Kat sent a new QR code clip which I tech'd volume for and added to all the 9/18 and SE playlists we have. The volume (3.8) has been noted on the white board. Projection Admin 9/2

To do this evening/ was completed: Our Network has been updated. Nick from DMS came in to drop off the relay mechanism and take a look at 3/7 before his install visit next week. I showed him in and around the space and he checked in with the WiFi guys. He also liased with Chris whilst scoping out the existing relay system in in 3/7.  It is still somewhat of a wreck in the 46 booth (cables and boxes that, to my knowledge, need to be thrown out, but I asked if they were going to clean up/what needs to be cleared out and I didn't get a proper response in both English and when I asked in Spanish lol so apparently someone might be coming round to finish that up tomorrow. If we don't, we can call Juan and double check. I did tidy things up though, so at least it's not absolute chaos in here.  Once the Network was up and properly running, I tested out theatres 4 and 6 to see if anything needed to be rebooted and lo n behold, only the dimmer panels needed to be rebooted in all the...
