Presentation Issues: The first showing of Toy Story 4 in Theater 2 failed to start on time. The scheduler was correct, the IMS was set to "Schedule," and the playlist loaded correctly. For whatever reason, the playlist never got the cue to play. I started it manually, but this is definitely something to keep an eye on, especially if it keeps happening in Theater 2. Please make a note of anything like this happening in your blogs. Preshow Clips/Playlist: No updates until 7/5 Trailer Updates: No updates. Presentation Issues: TMS in 4/6 froze at 5:29 and remained frozen throughout the night. This didn't affect playback, but I loaded every show manually to be safe. It was fine in the other booths. I tried refreshing everything, with no luck. Finally, I simply logged out of TMS in 4/6, which fixed the problem. *** I think the computer froze because I was trying to unzip PS_NPP_Generic_v3_40min, but kept getting an error message. Presentation Issues: 35mm projector 2 in theater 1 lamp issues again during the screening of Magnolia. The lamp shut itself off twice within the first ten minutes (more on this below) so Michael and I switched to the backup on his laptop. This caused further issues as the audio sync on this file wasn't great. We had a DCP ingesting when the show started, so when it finished I tried to switch to that as seamlessly as I could so we could at least have in-sync audio, but when I loaded the DCP to cue it up the macro on the Christie switched automatically, so there was a black screen/silence for ~30 seconds before I got the laptop backup back on screen. This led customers to think the file had skipped ahead a few scenes, even though the laptop backup had just continued running normally while this happened, it just wasn't on screen.
