To do this evening/ was completed: Finished inspecting The Fifth Element print. It's in good condition overall with a few minor anomalies. The cue marks on reel five are positioned too late in the reel, so I added new marks with the grease pencil. Likewise reel six's cues are slightly too late as well, with the changeover cues twelve frames from the end. I have not added new cues to this reel yet. Lastly, there are two small adhesive stickers right at the end of reel seven, before the credits. They seem somewhat difficult to remove so I haven't done that yet. Inspection sheet is now complete. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: During the later reels of Malcolm X , P2 was projecting a soft image on the left and right sides of the screen. Center screen was tack sharp.  Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Malcolm X screening in T4 went very smoothly. Print has been rewound, ready for re-inspection. To do this evening/ was completed: Began inspecting The Fifth Element print. So far the print is in good condition, with a decent amount of base scratching. The first reel has printed and scribed cues on the same frames, but the second reel has scribed X marks for the motor and changeover cues, then about eight frames later (for both motor and changeover) there's a set of printed cues and a set of scribed cues, which should be disregarded as they're positioned too late on the reel. Went over 35mm projection procedure with McKegg in each of the booths. We reviewed threading pretty thoroughly, went over how to turn each projector on, how to adjust framing and focus, how to rotate lenses in the turret, how to make sure the CP500 has the right projector selected at the beginning of a show. I also made him aware of moving the switch to "open" on the exhaust pipes connected to each projector.  We also reviewed the TMS/IMS interfaces, how to ingest content locally, how to up...

Left two mic stands with the smaller mic holders attached under the curtain, please remove the mic holders after the event, store them in the bin with the wired mics, and return the stands to Theater 1 under the curtain. Skipped through the playlist to test the mics and check the feature, it's good to go. Left the levels at a good spot on the mixer so it just needs to be turned on. The movie sounded good at 5 in the empty theater, but since it will be full I set the volume to 5.3 in the playlist. It may need to be raised a bit further.
