To do this evening/ was completed:  Hey, team! Just a friendly reminder to be mindful of the blogs and if there's pertinent information about what you can download, ingest, or organize--try to get done what you can. I made a couple more DCPs today and we now have ALL shorts for the NewFest programme A Very Trans Time fully ingested in T2; Summer Solstice , Pierce Me , Right Here , Cosboi , Monsieur LeButch and Epilogue . I know Kat is supposed to be converting Epilogue for that programme, but I made a back up just in case. These can now be tech'd on Tuesday, 10/11. Jack's screening of Time & Tide went very well, which I'm bummed I didn't have enough time to see today. Also, I want to briefly touch upon the belt situation as Jack mentioned the take up belt on P2 was loose, which is on me as I was working on the the other night and I'm used to the belts looking a bit different. To do this evening/ was completed: Removed New Moon content from TMS. Unidentified Objects successfully ingested to T2. Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Time and Tide intro and screening went very smoothly. Projectors cleaned before and after the screening, print rewound heads out, which I assume is how we received, though it's not specified on the inspection sheet. The take-up spindle on the rewind bench in T1 was missing so I used one from 4/6 which I returned after the screening. Also, the takeup belt on P2 was not properly attached when I began threading this morning--just a heads up. To do this evening/ was completed:  Before I Change My Mind  fully ingested into T3. Once Unidentified Objects finished downloading to the desktop, I copied it over to the DCPII drive, which took an incredibly long time, but I wanted to get it sorted before ingesting anything else. It's still ingesting in T2, so Monsieur will need to be ingested in T3 tomorrow. In some cases, with some projector/server set-ups, we can ingest content overnight. I don't believe that's possible here (I used to do this elsewhere with a rack laptop connection while the projector was off but the server was on), but I'd like to know if we can. I downloaded the DCP of Right Here to NewFest desktop folder and made a DCP of Summer Solstice after downloading the ProRes to the desktop. Downloaded the video file for  Pierce Me  to the NewFest desktop folder--this can be made into a DCP. To do this evening/ was completed: Keys for Cabin in the Woods and Nocebo are ingested and will be active tomorrow morning. These can be teched on Monday. We need a credit offset for Cabin , so be sure cue sheet is updated when you check it. To do this evening/ was completed: Inspected the last three reels of New Nightmare. They're in good condition overall, relatively minimal base scratching. Inspection sheet has been updated. Made a new DCP for Going Away, transferred to the DCP Drive. Locally ingested Wallace and Gromit to T1 which delayed me from ingesting Paperboy until the end of the night, ingest in progress. Ingested Cosboi and Going Away to T2, Ahu's Journal to T3. Was unable to save and transfer Monsieur xmf file as I'm not able to access Dropbox, or at least couldn't find login info. Tried to organize the table to the right of the 4/6 desktop. There's a lot of stuff that could either be returned to owners (blu-rays) or placed in one of our spare bins, "misc" perhaps. Likewise the top of the metal drawer next to the rewind bench. Maybe we could get a cabinet to place all of the cleaning and maintenance equipment in, house it to the left of the rewind bench. To do this evening/ was completed: If possible, please try saving the Monsieur Le Butch video .mxf file to the Dropbox desktop folder (it will say our Dropbox is full, but just ignore that it will still copy over) and copy it to the folder on the DCPII drive when it’s done. Also, restart the Right There download on Cyberduck. Select Google Drive, sign into my account, then the .zip file should show up in the “Shared with me” folder. To do this evening/ was completed: Hopped over to the Williamsburg location this morning to pick up a Mac mini and met with Joe for a bit, who showed me around the office space. Nice to meet you in person, Joe.⚘  I set up accounts with Grainger and Uline for projection.  Continued downloading NewFest content and troubleshooting DCPs/video files that were giving us grief. Paperboy, Before I Change My Mind and Ahu's Journal DCPs have been taken care of and need to be ingested. We need to continue downloading content for A Very Trans Time for NewFest, then we'll be in good shape for Monday's tech check. Cosboi, Monsieur Butch DCPs are on the DCPII drive and will need to be ingested. Going Away  is also on the drive but it's file 'GA Lock' should be made into a DCP again.
