Presentation Issues: We had a customer complaint in theater 7 that the back channel for Avengers was not coming through. I watched a bit of the movie to check, and did not notice anything especially weird. I touched base with Michael who confirmed that we are waiting on replacement back speakers (which then arrived a couple hours later). I asked if we should switch to the 5.1 mix in that theater, and Michael said to just let it ride out with 7.1, as there isn't much sound information in the back mix. The playlist has remained. ** the Lights Mid cue in theater 6 was not turning on the side lights (just the overheads). But then in this last round they ... just started working again. Okay. Presentation Issues: A customer for the 6:35 Dumbo (Theater 7) said the image was out of focus. I made a very slight adjustment to the focus but given the lack of sightline into the theater from the booth it was hard to get an accurate adjustment. During the flip I threw up a test pattern and reset the focus on the projector and the image looked crisp after that. Not sure how it drifted off though, maybe the focus changes slightly when we switch inputs on the projector because we have automatic ILS enabled. I think this was because all 10 cues were scheduled to happen in the first two seconds - when things overlap like this, they can kind of bug out the IMS. Every cue should be scheduled 1 second apart. There's another playlist pack by the name "DCP_Flat_1:85_PS" that should be used instead. I loaded this into every playlist that needed it. Presentation Issues: The cue sheets were off again today for T4 by about 5 minutes. My suspicion is that the trailer packs or preshows were altered AFTER the playlists were already in the scheduler. For future reference: if you have to change the content of any playlists that are already scheduled, you have to delete and reschedule the playlist . Otherwise, the playlists will load and play fine, but will not reflect the stated times in the scheduler. In other words, all playlist updates should be done BEFORE the playlists are scheduled. If not, the playlists need to be rescheduled to reflect these changes. Then the cue sheets need to be changed to reflect the scheduler. Please let me know if you have any questions about this! It is very important for our FOH staff that the cue sheets are as accurate as possible. Presentation Issues: As I went to start the feature for the field trip event in theater 2, TMS froze and I had no access to cues, theater controller, etc. Fortunately I was able to use the theater 6 rack computer to log in to the theater 2-specific controller and load/start the show. This was frustrating and created a bit of a delay in the show start, but, it all worked out.      I rebooted TMS after the show ended and everything now appears to be back on track. ** Dropbox was not allowing us to download any material directly to our portable drive.
