To do this evening/ was completed: Early July 4th shows went off just fine. I did come in this morning to find that T6 IMB connection was lost, but rebooting the projector calmed it down. No issues after that. ept an eye on it throughout the day. Please continue to keep an eye on this throughout the evening, just in case. Let me know if you need assistance!  Staff screenings have been built/scheduled on the TMS and blocked on the calendar.  Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built the SE playlists for Oceans Eleven, Cheap Killers (SOF), Set it Off, Shouting at the Screen, Little Shop of Horrors      (for Shouting at the Screen and Little Shop of Horrors , I noted on the trailer sheet as still needing to be QC'd).  Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Hunt for the Wilder People finished transcoding early this afternoon. Ingested this directly to T6.  Built the playlist for the private Hunt for the Wilder People on 7/11.  Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers

To do this evening/ was completed: Bound down, Thief letters up. 7/12 forecasts downloaded and most A1 7/12 playlists built. The forecasts were in the do not ingest folder but all of the files were there. Often content is ready when residing in that folder, so I just went for it. Jaws intro and screening went smoothly. Mixer turned off afterward. Set up a mic for a little post-Jaws trivia in Trees, brought that back to 4/6. Presentation Issues: Had to pause the last round in T2 about forty minutes into the feature and bring up cleaning lights. Medical emergency. Got the show going again about ten minutes later, rewound a little bit. Cellophane and some new HDMI converters arrived from Amazon. In 4/6. Talented Mr. Dripley DCP ingested to 3, Oceans Eleven to 1. T2 booth swept. Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Outgoing/Shipping (content): Print/video Inspection: Asset tracking doc

To do this evening/ was completed: Presentation Issues: Preshow Clips/Playlist: Built and scheduled the private event playlist for next Thursday. (A school screening, they're watching Despicable Me 4 ). Trailer Updates: Made 7/12 trailer packs. Note there's a Longlegs specific R pack but this is still technically a maybe. TBC on Monday. If we don't end up booking this, just delete this pack. Special Events/ AV set up: Tested a mic in 3 for tonight's intro. Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): Talented Mr. Ripley (for Film Feast pre-screening next Tuesday) is being converted to DCP. From the 4/6 desktop to a hard drive. This will finish up this evening. Bound for T3. Transferred the Little Shop of Horrors DCP to another hard drive (Fugazi isn't formatted to be able to ingest from) and ingested it to T3. Hunt for the Wilderpeople DCP is cooking on the Mac downstairs. Likely will finish tomorrow morning. This goes to T6. We'

To do this evening/ was completed: Prefacing first that the show tonight went great! Apologies for the following ramble - Saw (and only at the last minute) that there was a dcp end show pack in the playlist for  Bound , which I first mistook for the transfer from digital to the analogue processor and with our normal volume adjustments added in, but instead it just immediately brought the cleaning lights up at the start of the show before I could prevent it from executing, which was fine but jarring and kind of a bummer beginning. I built this playlist (and have noticed in a few others) some extremely random changes to them recently, which is why I usually spend Saturday night going through everything I've built. Not trying to point fingers of course ( although I feel a bit like I've been going insane lately with the random playlist changes) but if you tech or re-tech something and make adjustments, make note of it, please. I don't think I would've added a dcp end show p

NPP Projection Open - Jack, Kegg, and Alec Triple Feature 7/2

To do this evening/ was completed: TMS scheduled for upcoming week.  Loops ran in T1, also took a look at Bound reels one and two, volume logged. Checked out Sandpiper in T4, volume logged. Good bit of bleed on side curtains with regular scope masking, so be sure to use the scope film masking preset. Also applied a bit of gaff tape on the right side of the glass. No eyes on Jaws today. Last round in T3 ends at 10:50 tonight so it can get tech'd then. Plex via the projector in Trees should be back to normal now. I think the splitter I had up there for the Apple TV was failing, but I replaced it with an extra we had on hand. We'll eventually need this splitter for other things so I ordered another one specifically for Trees. -AL Ordered a blackout cover for the fluorescents, in the event one starts flickering again. -AL We received the blu-ray of Hunt for the Wilderpeople , for a private event on 7/11. In the process of being DCP'd. -AL Made copies of the DJ key for Trees. On

To do this evening/ was completed: McKegg gave me a bell today about the shorts playing at WB tonight as they asked last min to make sure the DCPs are OCAP, the sub files of which were sent with each feature, but not burnt into the films. Talked him through burning them into the image - this is something I discovered whilst running way too many festivals at the film center in Chicago, when, a foreign film's subs were missing (they were not. you can look at already made DCPs in dcp-o-matic, single out the sub file, and burn it into the image with some adjustments so that they come up! it's quite neat, actually. I can go over this with everyone since it's very useful information). Since there was very little time to remake the dcps again with the subs burnt in, McKegg made two on his end and I went to make the other two, but the second was taking too long, so McKegg is working on it on his end since it's moving fast there. This is a courtesy anyhow. Uber connected the dri

To do this evening/ was completed: No issues with T2 projector/playback (in reference to the card cage alert from the Christie). Checked the booth to see if there were any leaks from the rain. Nice and dry. Went through various topics in the manual just to brush up. Cue sheets checked for tomorrow. Outgoing content removed from servers.
