T2 booth swept and mopped, looked like there was a bit of residue up there from the work going on in that auditorium, so might be a good idea to keep a closer eye on the booth for the time being. *Also, there is a broken key lodged inside the door handle to the booth which makes it pretty difficult sometimes to open the door, requires a bit of finagling. Presentation Issues: T2, round 1 Twisters: at the beginning of the feature MOD/runners notified me that the curtains had not opened up for the feature and that there was a ton of bleed. I hit the masking cues on the TMS and IMS pages to no result, so I went behind the curtain and saw that the masking motor was not on. I hit the power switch on the motor to no result and then attempted to see if a power cable was disconnected somewhere, which was very hard to do because there was a ton of insulation padding on top of all the cables and the equipment box. After a few minutes I gave up (upon inhaling some dust, which I'm not pleased about) and switched over to the 1.85 channel on the Christie and let the film play letterboxed. Presentation Issues: Quick power outage caused projector lamps in 1, 3, 5, 7 to shut off. Turned them back on after a few minutes and rewound films in 3 and 5. Checked lighting panels, which weren't affected. 2, 4, and 6 projectors stayed on. Lost connection to building speakers as well. Disconnected and reconnected the panel ethernet cables from the HTD unit and power-cycled it as well, which resolved the issue. Not sure it was necessary to disconnect cables but went for it. To do this evening/ was completed:  Presentation Issues: Looked at the  Dr. Black Mr Hyde  DCP with Cristina, something weird happened with the conversion to DCP because of the framerate. DCP-o-matic automatically selected 30fps as the framerate, which was technically correct, but the DCP did not look or sound good. The movement was videotape-esque and the audio was way out of sync. I ran the original file through HandBrake to convert it to 24fps, which can then get converted to DCP. Had this issue once before with something else and converting it to 24fps did the trick. Wasn't that intrusive, I'd say, but prominent enough in a quiet room. Fly Me to the Moon CRU drive arrived, allegedly. I couldn't find it in any of the usual locations. Apologies for the following ramble - Saw (and only at the last minute) that there was a dcp end show pack in the playlist for  Bound , which I first mistook for the transfer from digital to the analogue processor and with our normal volume adjustments added in, but instead it just immediately brought the cleaning lights up at the start of the show before I could prevent it from executing, which was fine but jarring and kind of a bummer beginning. I built this playlist (and have noticed in a few others) some extremely random changes to them recently, which is why I usually spend Saturday night going through everything I've built. Talked him through burning them into the image - this is something I discovered whilst running way too many festivals at the film center in Chicago, when, a foreign film's subs were missing (they were not. you can look at already made DCPs in dcp-o-matic, single out the sub file, and burn it into the image with some adjustments so that they come up! it's quite neat, actually. I can go over this with everyone since it's very useful information). Since there was very little time to remake the dcps again with the subs burnt in, McKegg made two on his end and I went to make the other two, but the second was taking too long, so McKegg is working on it on his end since it's moving fast there.
