Heads up, they'll need a mic set up in Trees for most if not all of the days they're having screenings here. I left a stand in the storage closet. I re-exported the QMM slides because they were actually not the right size, they should look stretched on the computer so they look right when squeezed by the tube TVs in Trees. The T4T one I made was the right size (weird thing with the video software I was using where it squeezed the slides back to their original size after I stretched them with HandBrake, but the software allows you to resize which I figured out for T4T on Thursday night but I guess it didn't occur to me I'd have to redo QMM as well). To do this evening/ was completed: Matthew flipped the breaker back on for T1 (which is in 4/6 server station) for the PA speakers. I tested mics multiple times and they're definitely working and, more notably, rather  hot . For intros/Q&As, we can bring down the usual level for the mics (on the cp750) from 7.0 to 6.5 or 6.0, I reckon. I did not have the time to get the massive ladder out to adjust the actual speakers, but I think it's worth doing, just so everything's a little even keel.  I added the the Queer Media Mixer slideshow that Alec made to a folder on Plex (which looks great! I tested it!), but the T4T one (for some reason) did not export with the right size, so I'm exporting another one right now to the desktop named T4T_Mixer_133_5hrs. Not sure if it's actually 5hrs but it is certainly more than 3. In any case, it should (hopefully) be the right size. I briefly tried looking for the breaker to see if it had tripped but in the interest of time I just grabbed a power strip and extension cords and connected the speakers (plus the string lights for their tables) to the outlet by the masking motor. I looked around for the breaker after getting everything settled but did not see anything that looked tripped. I'll ask Matthew where the breaker for this is and, if it's not a tripped breaker, have Vlad come look at it. *Also, they like having the Yamaha mixer on the table with the spotlight controller and laptops. I adjusted accordingly but the volume dial on the 750 is super finicky and will drop the volume way too low or way too high depending on how much force there is applied to it. To do this evening/ was completed: Had what was essentially our last major tech with NewFest today until we lock in the playlists (ros) with the rest of those folks including Monisha real soon. We looked over the program All About The T, New Voices, and received all assets whilst we were teching so I was able to ingest the rest of those (I already had the Gilead/ Land acknowledgement in there but now we've got all slides and the preshow roll (watched the entire preroll to make sure everything looked good to them/was accurate), and all we're waiting on now is an updated version of the NewFest 2025 trailer since the sponsor slide at the end of the trailer could be slightly improved. We also received another round of VF files to try out for All About The T since we the first updates we saw today had the subs a little too high for our liking, and luckily those next round came in whilst we were teching. Deleted the feature right after as T3 is tight on space with all the NewFest features currently loaded. Spoons went well. Thanks to Lillian for getting the mixers and mic receivers set. I chose to connect them to the T5 booth PC for theater controls which turned out to be a mistake as it booted them before the show started when the computer went to sleep, so I changed the sleep settings. Then during the show they were booted again and could not reconnect, so I gave them the T1 mac mini. They were not without control of house lights and volume for long. The mac mini is probably the most stable option for them, if its possible to give it up for the duration of their show, followed by the T6 PC. Other than this, there were no issues.  To do this evening/ was completed: NO shows in T2 tonight.  Going to try to summarize the chaos of today, and we've all done a really great job of troubleshooting/communicating, so I'm super happy about that. We have DMS and Vlad coming in tomorrow morning (not sure what time yet, TBD, but definitely early). DMS will provide a new power cable for the projector in T2, which went down during first round for One Battle. We ran up to the booth only to discover that the unpleasant burning smell came from the fully burnt plug that damn near disintegrated in Alec's hands. Vlad will be scoping out the electrical outlet and system in there since this is obviously a more severe issue than just simply replacing the power cable. We moved both Gotham shorts into T3, rearranging other shows in T7/T1 to make sure we're still making a decent profit today and not disappointing our patrons.
