Presentation Issues: -In the last round in TH1 and TH2 the new scope masking cue didn't fire at the beginning of the playlist. Even though I had made the changes to the playlists AND tested them last night before I left and they worked. I am assuming this is because I didn't change the playlist in the TMS last night only in the IMS (because doing so would've broken the links in TH 3,5,7). And when the new day started, it got confused? Although, I would think we would have had problems in TH 4 & 6 as well... Curious. Either way, all new cues are built in every house and renamed everywhere. Macros work everywhere as well. I went from house to house at the end of the night and tested everything. - While I was doing this, and finished in TH3, I went to shut off the projector and accidentally shut off TH7 instead. Gil radioed me that the theater lost image (I think there was like 12 minutes left in Jumanji). I got it back up and stepped it back 5 min to restart the show

Presentation Issues: Little Women 35mm went very well. The print continues to look beautiful. When I came in and chatted with Erin about her day she mentioned getting a call for a masking cue not firing. We figured out that it had to do with Dan's (from DMS) work on the masking. We did some practical trouble shooting in between shows in TH4 and discovered that I had no TMS macro control over masking in TH 1, 4 & 6 and the cues were not firing within the playlists, but I did have control in the IMS. I tried to stay ahead of the manual masking changes in the upcoming shows but missed TH2 since I didn't even know he had gone in there. Servers had to radio me during the scope trailers since the masking was still on flat. I changed all the masking cues on each local server to match the renamed cues that Dan had made in TH 1,2,4,6 so at least we would have automation in the playlists. Once that was accomplished, I finished building the new macros in houses 3,5,7 to match

Presentation Issues: The masking cues for theaters 1, 4 & 6 aren't firing. Coincidentally these are the only theaters Dan has been working in to get the 35 up and running, and tweaking the masking macros to fit digital/film aspects. The curtains will work fine when we control them from either the IMS or manually with the motor under the screen, but the macros won't fire from the playlist or from TMS macro executions. I tried to figure out how to reprogram them, but it is limited what I can test while the theater is open. **Conveniently because of how are playlists are set up because of our squeaky motors, this is only a problem going from movie to movie, not within the playlists themselves. (As in, I only had to manually change the masking in each of these theaters once because they were only showing Scope films). Still a problem since Michael is the one who would best know how to solve this. Karen is up to speed on this and will start troubleshooting when she can. Pre

Presentation Issues: During the dinner round in TH3, "Bombshell" lost sound about 50 minutes into the feature. A quick glance at the rack in booth 3/7 showed that all components were working fine. I radioed for the MOD to stay in the theater. I stopped the show, shuttered the projector, and brought the house lights up. I then proceeded to mute the processor and cycle power on the amplifiers, unmuted the processor and restarted the feature briefly. Once the MOD confirmed that sound was back, I backed up the playlist by 7 minutes and restarted it. The whole fix took about 1-2 minutes. Presentation Issues: none Preshow Clips/Playlist: I bumped Star Wars volume down to 5.5. I sat through the first hour and a half or so this morning and my ears got pretty tired. The movie doesn't have a ton of dynamic range but at the previous setting, it seemed baseline loud the whole time, even during the talking scenes. It's tricky with movies like this, because it should be decently loud (it's a movie about a battle in outer space, for crying out loud, it's literally in the title), but I think the quieter scenes should be moments of relief rather than continuing to be kind of loud. Either way, that's my opinion. Gotta think of the poor servers, too, who probably have to endure another 4-5 weeks of this movie and shouldn't suffer long term hearing damage. This was a good thing, because at one point during the trailers the screen just went black & I discovered in the All Ages 122019 Scope trailer pack there was a cue (actually 2 cues) for the dowser to close for a lens change, and then rather than a dowser open cue, it was another close dowser cue. Presentation Issues: There were no presentation issues. Preshow Clips/Playlist: -Our playlist format has changed significantly. The pre-show lights are 50% brighter and therefore should be good enough to clean by (eliminating calls for cleaning lights back on after pre-shows start). There are 4 lighting cues in the credits now, going from mid to up to full generally within 2 minutes of credits starting, and a lights cleaning attached to the end of the feature clip. There are new packs to be used for end of show and any lens/masking change. Trailer Updates: Special Events/ AV set up: - I forgot to re-program the 1.33 masking in TH7 today (I had to overwrite it for 1.77 for Killer Raccoons) the next showing of The Lighthouse in TH7 is Saturday afternoon, could the Sat Brunch opener please re-program the masking before doors open for the day? Thank you and sorry! Ordering/Receiving (posters & trailers): Ordering/Receiving (content): -Jumanji was expected today but when

Presentation Issues: -There were no presentation issues. (Although I had a show that was auto scheduled 2 minutes after the previous show ended and it didn't start so I had to do it manually. I thought we were good to automate with at least two minutes in between playlists, something to keep an eye on.) Preshow Clips/Playlist: -Made a new Knives Out playlist and scheduled it for Hawks with babies on Tuesday. Trailer Updates: --New trailmix came in. I pulled the latest Bombshell trailer from it since we will be needing it next week. Special Events/ AV set up: -Spoons, Toons, & Booze lost sound for a few minutes during one of their trivia spots. I got the call while I was double checking the mic set up in TH7, as I was walking back into the theater 1, I re-executed the CP750 Digital 1 command thinking maybe Michael accidentally changed the audio input when trying to control the lights, at the same time he had unplugged and re-seated the hdmi cord from his laptop. I started to sync the digital soundhead to the picture, I got it very close but did not get to make final adjustments before the theater had to open. I also cleaned and greased rollers and started to familiarize myself with how to take things apart. -The analog sound is incredibly muffled on projector #1. I greased the piston since it was getting a bit stuck. Cue sheets updated/checked (every shift): Checked over cues and schedule for today and they are

Presentation Issues: -There were no issues but we did receive a volume complaint from TH4.  It was during the trailers but I went in and listened to the feature for a bit: Jojo Rabbit. I thought it sounded fine. However, I came to see Jojo Rabbit in TH7 over the weekend and I thought it was too quiet. What I heard in TH4 sounded better to me today. And they are similar-sized theaters, they should be comparable. Is there any way for us to individually set a baseline for each house? Something playing at vol 5 in TH7 should definitely match up in TH3, and for the most part in TH4 and 6 (and ideally we could scale TH1 and 2 to be the same). -I was able to catch most of a Star Wars trailer in TH6 just before I left for the day. I do not find it to be too loud. It is exciting, if that makes sense. I welcome another projectionist's opinion on this. Ever since we started playing the Star Wars playlist (which has been off and on for months), I have been aware of 2 individual complaints,

Presentation Issues: There were no presentation issues Preshow Clips/Playlist: Trailer Updates: *In light of the customer review forwarded to us by Matthew, I took the time to listen to the trailers in all of the theaters (as well as the features) ahead of opening. I did not find the volume to be too loud in any theaters. However, I was *mortified* to find that we are playing the Star Wars trailer from April in the adult pack and from August in the All Ages pack. I pulled the latest Star Wars trailer from the latest trail mix (from October, the November file only came to us in Scope) and subbed this out in both trailer packs. It is a dramatically different trailer and we should be playing the latest trailers (especially for highly anticipated movies like Star Wars). Whenever we get trail mixes, please check file dates for any movies trailers that we are holding over into the next week. There is also a newer file for Uncut Gems with a date of 11/19, I also put this on TMS, if s
