To do this evening/ was completed: I had a follow up screen share meeting with Chris this afternoon, which bled into evening since the sheer amount of automated features in Screenwriter with the POS system, individual houses and so forth works its way up to a lot of new information (I took notes, but next time I'll record everything). I have a much better understanding of templates and the POS on Screenwriter, which I'll go over with Alec on Weds, but for now, please make and schedule the new playlists exactly as we have been doing. What we've been making are Standard playlists and they are absolutely fine. I wanted to look at these features to see what might make our lives easier and what might make them unnecessarily complicated, and the most important goal we had was to just get Kat up and running with direct access to the server, which we did. To do this evening/ was completed: The warning for the T2 server on Screenwriter was still present this morning. I loaded a playlist manually on Screenwriter and that cleared it. Must've been some kind of synching glitch. I brought it down and added a 3.5 cue to the following clip in the playlist for tomorrow. Checked all the playlists for this week and all SE ones had the same issue with the preshow volume, they've been corrected. To do this evening/ was complete: Chris from DMS came in this morning and we had an extremely productive day with the LMS/ftp, though more will need to be done with the fire alarm. We actually discussed the possibility of an after hours session, which might make things easier as we'll need more time and it might be more difficult during the day. He's simplifying our fire alarm setup for the projection booths, which involves removing quite a bit of unnecessary cabling/circuitry. Everything seems to have been over-engineered, which makes sense. Anyway, he tested everything in T6, but that's the only theatre he's done so far. He channeled everything into the unused GP ports so the usual will still be executed when the fire alarm gets triggered: house lights up, dowser close, cp750 mute, server pause, BUT now we also have a Fire Alarm Reset playlist that puts the lights down, opens the dowser, unmutes the processor and presses play. To do this evening/ was completed: Inspected Do The Right Thing. It's in good condition with normal wear. Uploaded some stills to Drive, Conrad notified. AC units in 3/7 are back on as of 8 pm-ish. I turned off the blue fan Alec had set up but left the door open to the booth. I was then informed that the door that precedes the booth door, where you can access the side of the bar, does not lock. So I was slightly apprehensive to leave the booth door open post-closing time. Ultimately closed it, ACs are running. Bound drag performance went smooth enough overall but wasn't seamless. The volume of the speakers ultimately wasn't sufficient for Malice so I switched over to the mic input on the 750 during their intros/interludes, but forgot for a few seconds to switch back to Digital 1 for the second performer so about 5 - 6 seconds of the beginning of their song was cut off. Also after the curtain call song, I switched over to the breakdown slide which had no audio attached. Desm...

The Life Of Chuck features multiple aspect ratios and there are two versions of the feature, 1.85 and 2.39. I ingested both. My assumption is we'll play the film in 1.85 because the letterboxing looks less prominent than the pillarboxing but tbd. Deluxe's email includes stills in both projector ratios. Presentation Issues: Trees Plex access still limited. Most of the folders can't be accessed, exclamation point next to them on screen. I can access everything in the app up here. The cue sheets had an OCAP screening scheduled but I believe there was a mix up with the shuffling around of the private event in theater 5 this morning which caused that original first round to be accidentally moved around where it shouldn't have been. Some guests complained and were issued passes. To do this evening/ was completed: An unruly adult patron (or child?) somehow got nacho cheese (?) or something in the realm of nacho cheese, on the screen in T4. Wyatt walkied me about it and I went down to safely wipe it off. It wasn't a huge splash, just small blotches here and there, which I gently removed with a microfiber towel, water and small bit of soap. That'll usually do the trick and is the type of thing you want to use (with very little force) when cleaning the screens when there's no professional here. In any case, this actually reminded me of a note I have to check in about cleaning the screens soon. I will say, the black fabric for bottom masking has also been victimized by the (maybe) nacho cheese. We're working on getting these replaced as fast as possible. We are alright at the moment for now. Note that I Am My Own Woman , a 1.33 feature, plays in Theater 4 on Tuesday. To do this evening/ was completed: For now, I've set got the Phoenician Scheme (1.47) masking/lens file in the 1.33 pack. The ingest letter said to use 1.85 and mask as best as possible and that was the plan but when I came in today, it looked a little off with 1.85 in T1/2 and I didn't want to adjust 1.85 since we frequently use that, but it was good in 1.66. Since we have Friendship in T3 with Phoenician on Saturday, using the 1.66 lens/masking wouldn't work, so I adjusted 1.33 screener file, made a slight lens adjustment, and set the masking. I want to redo T1 tomorrow and have Alec get his eyes on it. There's not a huge difference between using the pack I have and the 1.85 lens file/1.33 masking cue, but in T3 there seems to be. I do think tomorrow we should reset to use 1.85 and the masking cue I made for '1.33,' bit T1 looked ever so slightly off with that so for now, it's all with 1.33.
